The Australian Air League is pleased to advise that ballooning is now accepted for members as an aviation activity with the Australian Air League.

Previously ballooning was not permitted as an AAL activity per the AAL Manual however with recent negotiations with our insurer; balloon flight is now permitted within guidelines. Details can be found in Federal Air Activities Instruction 19, available for download here.
