The Australian Air League is pleased to announced the appointment, for the first time, of four Assistants to Federal Commissioners.

This new program is designed to offer enthusiastic junior officers a unique opportunity to build valuable leadership skills, develop new networks and learn from the Air League’s most senior officers. Each Assistant has been appointed for a period of one year from 1st July, and will work alongside their respective Federal Commissioner on projects related to their appointment. During this period they will continue in their existing Squadron or Wing roles, and they may be appointed for an additional year if both they and the relevant Commissioner so desire.

The Assistants to the Federal Commissioners are:

• Assistant to Federal Air Activities Commissioner: Sqn Lt Jason Harte, Sutherland Shire Sqn, NSWBG
• Assistant to Federal Training Commissioner: Sqn Capt Kyle Laing, SA Wing
• Assistant to Federal Marketing and Publicity Commissioner: 1st Off Hanson Wong, Doncaster Sqn, VicG
• Assistant to Federal Field Commissioner: 2nd Off Stephen Davis, Sunbury Sqn, VicG.
