The theme for the Education Display this year is;

“Project Apollo – The Race for the Moon”

2019 celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the first moon landing echoed by the scratchy voice of Neil Armstrong “Houston, Tranquillity Base here. The Eagle has landed.” These were Neil Armstrong’s words relayed to NASA’s Mission Control in Houston after he successfully parked Apollo 11’s four-legged lunar module on the moon.

It was July 20, 1969, when Armstrong took that one small step for man & one giant leap for mankind, the display is to reflect the Apollo program leading up to and including the moon landing only.
