Doyalson Girls Sqn Celebrates 20 years

On the 23rd June, Doyalson Girls Squadron, from NSW’s Central Coast celebrated their 20th Anniversary. The event was attended by dignitaries from the Council of the League, NSW Girls’ Group, NSW Boys’ Group and Squadron members.

 

Doyalson Cadets loose their locks for Leukaemia Research

Two very brave Junior Cadets, Madison Flynn (left) and Kira Gleeson (right) from Doyalson Squadron recently sacrificed their beautiful hair to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation’s “World’s Greatest Shave”.  Between them they raised a total of $1,657.50 which is a fantastic effort they should be proud of.

The issue of child safety within the wider community is a serious issue and one that organisations such as the Australian Air League cannot take lightly.

The League takes this issue very seriously, and has adopted a risk management strategy for child protection designed to ensure that all adult League members are empowered to take action, where appropriate, in accordance with defined process.

Canberra was the host city for the 2006 Australian Air League Review and City of Canberra Squadron meet at the Canberra Aero Club, on Canberra Airport.
