Air League spreads its wings to Sunbury

The Australian Air League has responded to the many enquiries received recently and is about to form a new squadron in Sunbury, therefore the public are cordially invited to a public meeting on the Friday 23rd July 2010 at the Sunbury Primary School Hall – The Heights, off Outlook Drive, Sunbury, at 7.00pm.

FFI 41a – Royal Salute

Federal Field Instruction 41a has been issued to amend the AAL manual to conform to the protocols for the appropriate use of the Australian National Flag. It can be downloaded here.

Air League in Aussie Kids magazine

Have you seen the Australian Air League in Aussie Kids Magazine?

To promote the Australian Air League during the month of June, full page colour ads have been placed in Aussie Kids magazine for that month, with follow up ads in the July issue. Aussie Kids magazine is a free magazine distributed in Queensland, NSW, the ACT, Victoria and Tasmania through McDonalds restaurants, shopping centres, child care centres, hospitals, and family day care centres.

ANZAC Spirit

Cadet Thomas of the Waverley Squadron maybe the Squadron’s youngest, and smallest Cadet but he certainly displayed the “ANZAC Spirit” supporting the local RSL by selling tokens in his local shopping centre.
