Last month we had a great response to our Junior Cadet competition with some great entries, so for May we are running another competition open to our Junior Cadets ages 8 to 11.
The Cessna 152 is a very well known two seat trainer aircraft that many pilots learn to fly in. This month we are looking for our Junior Cadets to neatly and correctly label all of the parts of this aircraft. Our aircraft here is also looking pretty plain, so we want you to create the most imaginative scheme for your own aircraft!

Once again there are two categories for the competition;
The only condition is you must be a Junior Cadet who current member of the Australian Air League.
Please include your name and membership number on you entry, you can ask mum or dad to post them on the Air League Facebook page, or email them to us competition@airleague.com.au.
The winner of each category will receive a 1/72 scale model aircraft. Entries close on the Sunday, 13th June 2021 at 11:59pm.
Thank you to all the cadets who took part in our recent F/A-18 colouring contest – there were some great entries and it made our job really hard to pick the winners!
Finally we narrowed the field down to two winners and they;
Tiger captured the colours of the special anniversary F/A-18 Hornet perfectly, while Ben went for something different with an F/A-18 in the colours of the Roulettes aerobatic display team!

At just 11 years old, Cadet Willow Plenty is already receiving recognition for her commitment to the Australian Air League by being named Junior Cadet of the Year.
Recently she was featured on Wyndham TV who visited the Point Cook Squadron – check out the video below!
