The Australian Air League is a national youth organisation for boys and girls aged 8 years and older. It's aims are to promote and encourage the development of Aviation in the Youth of Australia , to promote good citizenship, teamwork and to develop the ingenuity and resourcefulness of it's members.

If you are looking to find out more about the Australian Air League, here you will learn about the League's aim, its history and the activities our members enjoy. If you are already a member of the League or involved in some way, you will also find a wealth of online resources such as downloadable files, news and upcoming events and an online forum. Kerr Wing Parade (NSW) 24th August

ImageOn Sunday 24 August 2008 Kerr Wing will be conducting their first Wing Parade in 5 years at Nurragingy Reserve, Doonside NSW

 
An invitation to all members of the NSW Boys’ and Girls’ Group Wings and Squadrons to attend the Wing Parade for 2008, which also marks City of Blacktown Squadron's 70th Anniverary. Details of the Parade can be found on the Parade Statement which can be downloaded from the website here.

 
NSW Boys Group Training Camp

ImageOn the weekend of the 21st and 22nd June, over 100 cadets and Officer of NSWBG attended the annual NCO, Officer and Band Training Camp held at Lane Cove, NSW. Here participants took part in theoretical and practical training on a wide range of subjects including drill, leadership training - all necessary attributes for future leaders. 

Highlights of the weekend included the formal dining in night with special guest Jeff Waton, Patron of the Australian Air League who also entertained the members with a video presentation on the aircraft "Boneyard" in the Arizona desert that he recently visited and filmed.

NSW Girls Group Education Camp

ImageLast month the NSW Girls Group conducted an Education Camp at Winston Hills, NSW with over 70 cadets and Officeras in attendance both from city Squadrons and from as far away as Tamworth in the country. Activities included education badges which the cadets completed on the day  and a "Beat the Buzzer" competition, and all members thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.

Victoria Group Swimming Carnival 2008

Victoria Group Swimming CarnivalImageThe Victoria Group Swimming Carnival was held on the 31st May 2008 at Monash University Swimming Pools. The winning girls Squadron was Berwick Girls Squadron and the winning boys Squadron was Berwick Boys Squadron, who have won a record number of times.

NSW Group Review 2008 - Amendment

ImagePlease note that the date on the recently released GFC for the NSW Group Review 2008 is incorrect - the correct date is 21st September 2008.

 

The Review will be held at Bland Oval, Riverwood NSW.
