A new name badge design has been approved by the Council of the Air League to be worn by Officers and Associate members. Two colour schemes are available from April 2016 – a blue badge for Officers and white badge for Associates (see photo). The badge is held in position with a strong magnetic clip and costs $14 (including postage).

A Federal Administration Instruction has been issued describing how name badges can be purchased and where the badge is positioned on the Officer uniform. The approved name badges are voluntary and not a compulsory uniform requirement.

The new name badge is visually attractive, enhances the national profile of the Air League, adds security and is similar to identification badges worn in other uniformed organisations.
