It is with great sadness to advise all the members that on Friday the 3rd September 2021, Sqn.Capt. Ean Rosenberg passed away after losing his battle with cancer.

Ean Vincent Rosenburg joined the league 29th August 1996 and was the Officer Commanding Ross Smith Wing for the best part of 20 years and was also the Officer Commanding of Coffs Harbour Squadron for 24 years.

Following in his fathers’ footsteps, he had also been a cadet of the City of Brisbane Company of the Air League in 1939.

Ean was a man who believed wholeheartedly in the Australian Air League, and it’s aims and objects, working tirelessly for his squadron and the cadets, right up until his passing on Friday.

A true and honest friend, Ean was an officer and a gentleman who will be sadly missed by all his friends in the League.
