It is with regret that we advise of the death, on Friday 20th February 2009, of Squadron Captain Michael Perinich, LM., MSA.

Michael Perinich joined Mount Pritchard Squadron of the Australian Air League on 19th January 1971 and maintained his association with that Squadron throughout his 38 years service.

Michael was awarded the Meritorious Service Award in May 1989 in recognition of his commitment to the tasks allotted to him, and in 1996, his long and faithful service was again recognised when the Council of the Australian Air League bestowed upon him Life Membership of the Australian Air League.

The funeral service will be conducted at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Corner. Humphries and Cabramatta Roads, MOUNT PRITCHARD, NSW at 1030 hours on Saturday 28th February 2009, departing at 1130 hours for Liverpool Cemetery.
