Vale Gp.Lt. Frederick Raffo (Retd) OAM LM DSA
It is with a deep sense of loss that the League advises of the passing of Group Lieutenant (Retd) Frederick Ernest RAFFO, LM., DSA on Thursday 31st January at the age of 88 years.
Fred, as he was known, was born on 10th August 1924 and joined Manly Squadron of the Australian Air League, on 12th May 1969 and remained a member of the Australian Air League for 43.7 years. Fred was a Life Member of the Air Force Association and the NSW State Emergency Services (SES).
The funeral service will be conducted at the St Marks Church, Corner Oliver and Lawrence Roads, Freshwater, NSW, at 1400 hours on Tuesday 5th February 2013.
