Queensland Officers Gather for Training and Development at Currimundi
The Australian Air League Queensland Group recently held its annual Officer’s Conference at the Currimundi Recreation Centre, bringing together officers from across the state for a comprehensive professional development program.
The conference focused on enhancing leadership capabilities through a diverse range of activities. Participants engaged in team building exercises and problem-solving scenarios designed to strengthen collaborative skills essential for managing cadet squadrons.
A significant portion of the conference was dedicated to compliance training and officer craft, ensuring all leaders remain current with organisational standards and best practices. Instructors also received specialised training to enhance their teaching effectiveness with cadets.
The conference concluded with strategic planning sessions, where officers collaborated on future initiatives and programs for the Queensland Group. This forward-looking approach helps ensure the continued growth and success of the Australian Air League’s Queensland operations.
The Currimundi Recreation Centre’s facilities provided an ideal setting for both the practical and theoretical components of the conference, allowing officers to fully engage in all aspects of the professional development program.
