Aircraft Modelling Worksheets – 2025
The Australian Air League Aircraft Modelling series of badges was recently updated to simplify and streamline the badges.
Cadets no longer need to select a stream (balsa flying models or plastic models), but can instead select from a list of options for each badge. Each badge has 6 or 7 options, and the cadets can select any 3 from the list.
For example, the options available for Aircraft Modelling Class 3 include;
- A balsa “chuck” glider
- A balsa rubber band powered model
- A box kite
- A 1/72 scale model of a propeller powered aircraft
- A 1/72 scale model of a jet aircraft
- A diorama featuring one of these scale models
