South Australia Flying Scholarships 2025

Supporting cadets with a passion for aviation is what the Australian Air League is all about. For the South Australia Group, this means getting flight experiences for as many cadets as possible. For some cadets, this experience and passion may lead to a desire to earn a pilots licence and fly themselves.

With generous support from Sir Ross and Sir Keith Smith Fund, we are able to offer cadets scholarships to learn to fly.

We are very pleased to announce the winners of 2025 Flying Scholarships, this year’s competition was fierce so South Australia Group has approved a fourth scholarship.

The four South Australia Group Flying Scholarship winners are:

  • Cpl. Wandel
  • Cdt. Medhurst
  • Cpl. Grigg
  • Sqn.Sgt. Geihlich
