Passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
The Australian Air League notes the advice that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has died, peacefully, at the age of 96. The Queen had reigned since 1952 and her eldest son, Charles, is now the King.
The Air League mourns the passing of Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God Queen of Australia and Her other Realms and Territories, Head of the Commonwealth.
As a mark of mourning and respect and in accordance with protocol, the Australian National Flag should be flown at half-mast immediately and until further notice.
